Dale of Norway is a proud supporter of worldwide winter sports. In addition to the Norwegian Ski Association, Dale of Norway is an official supplier to the Norwegian Biathlon Association, the Canadian Alpine team and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarding Dale of Norway rights to use of the five rings, the international Olympic logo, as part of its profile. Additionally, Dale of Norway sponsors Kaylin Richardson, a U.S. Olympian and National Alpine Ski Champion, representing Dale of Norway as an international spokes person.
The Norwegian Ski Association is Norway’s second largest sports association and organizes activities in alpine, freestyle, ski jumping, Nordic combined, cross-country and Telemark skiing. The Norwegian Ski Association was founded on February 21st,1908. The association is affiliated to the Norwegian Olympic Committee and the International Ski Federation (FIS). The association is divided into 16 Ski circuits, and is an association of 1,132 clubs with around 161,000 members total. Dale of Norway has been a supplier to the Norwegian ski teams since 1956. We were proud to be an active participant at the World Championship in Nordic skiing in Oslo in 2011 that was organized by the Norwegian Ski Association.
